Quantique Machine, Math & Mind is a new quantitative asset management in Brazil, founded by Fernando Vieira Santos Filho, Renato Ometto, and Camila Fairbanks, with experience at major institutions like J.P. Morgan, Citadel, 3G, and Constellation. Quantique aims to address the lack of quantitative investment vehicles in Latin America by utilizing algorithms and mathematical models for asset management. It is estimated that only 1% of multi-market funds in Brazil are quantitative, and the manager sees a high demand for sophisticated products capable of generating above-market returns. Quantique's strategy combines human expertise with advanced technology, such as machine learning and artificial intelligence, with a long-term horizon of 20 years. “[...] I see our multi-market quantitative fund as a product that fits into any portfolio. Because it is an alpha-generating vehicle, and in Brazil, investors have very directional portfolios that are heavily loaded with 'beta' [correlated to the average market performance].
